| In response to the Melamine situation that the food industry is currently facing; milk ingredients utilized to manufacture World's Finest Chocolate Inc.'s chocolate are sourced domestically from the Great Lakes Region of the United States. We have evaluated all our suppliers of raw materials that are non chocolate that utilized milk ingredients in their formulations, and have written confirmation that the milk ingredients utilized do not contain milk ingredients sourced from China. | January 23, 2009 World’s Finest Chocolate would like to assure our customers that Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Bears are NOT made with peanut butter or peanut paste associated with the ongoing recall by Peanut Corporation of America. The manufacturer that produces Peanut Butter Bears for World’s Finest Chocolate Inc. has given us a written assurance that they do not purchase peanut butter or peanut paste from Peanut Corporation of America. World’s Finest Chocolate’s quality program assures that all products are safe prior to shipment to consumers. |
